Jenny Mod Models and Skins: Visual Reference & Customization Guide

This page documents the visual side of Jenny Mod: character models, skins, texture changes and the differences between Java resource content and Bedrock-style packs. It is a reference guide, not a claim that every image or community pack belongs to one official release.

Package context used on JennyGamee

JennyGamee currently documents a Java package named Jenny-Mod-Forge-1.12.2-v1.9.0.jar and a Bedrock/MCPE release containing Jenny-mod.mcpack, Jenny-texture.mcpack and jenny-dweller.mcaddon. The Java asset is recorded on the public Java release page; the Bedrock files are recorded on the public MCPE release page.

The filename Jenny-texture.mcpack indicates a Bedrock pack asset by name, but the exact visual role, dependencies and supported Minecraft versions have not been confirmed by a manifest inspection or device test. This guide therefore separates verified file identity from unverified appearance or compatibility claims.

Models vs skins

Type

What it changes

What to verify

Model

The 3D geometry or structure used to render a character

Game edition, mod/add-on build, model/resource format

Skin/texture

The image applied to an existing model

Texture dimensions, model it was made for, pack compatibility

Resource pack

Visual assets loaded by Minecraft or an add-on

Edition, package identity and Minecraft version

A skin cannot automatically replace a custom model, and a Java resource pack should not be assumed to work as a Bedrock pack. The correct file structure depends on the build you are using.

Visual examples from the JennyGamee media archive

The images below are existing media used on JennyGamee. They show appearance variants previously documented on the site. Filenames or captions are not treated as proof that a numbered image is an official release version or that the image came from the exact packages listed above.

How to identify what a customization file actually is

  1. Check whether you are using Minecraft Java or Bedrock.
  2. Record the exact package filename before changing anything.
  3. Read the package extension and folder structure before importing it.
  4. Check which Jenny build or add-on the creator/uploader says the asset targets.
  5. Do not rename a file to force it into another edition.
  6. Back up the working resource/mod folder before replacing visual assets.

Java customization

Java customization can involve textures or model/resource files supplied by a specific mod or resource pack. The current JennyGamee Java package is identified as Jenny-Mod-Forge-1.12.2-v1.9.0.jar. The package filename verifies its 1.12.2/Forge label, but JennyGamee has not yet published a file-level inventory proving which model or texture assets are included inside that jar. Use the Java / PC / Forge guide for the verified package record.

Bedrock and mobile customization

Bedrock/MCPE visual content is commonly delivered through Bedrock pack files or as part of an add-on. The currently documented MCPE release contains two .mcpack files and one .mcaddon file, including Jenny-texture.mcpack. These packages are separate from Java .jar mods. See the Bedrock & mobile guide for the exact linked filenames, sizes and current verification limits.

Safety and provenance checklist

  • Prefer a source that identifies the uploader and package filename.
  • Keep the original filename instead of renaming unknown packages.
  • Scan unfamiliar files before use and avoid executables presented as skins or resource packs.
  • Do not treat a mirror or release uploader as the original developer unless that relationship can be verified.
  • A filename, screenshot or clean scan does not prove compatibility or authorship.

Verification policy: images can demonstrate appearance, while package metadata can establish file identity. Neither one alone proves creator, version compatibility or that a visual appears in every Jenny build.
